For all those that say Dubai has no culture..
There are regular musicals and concerts at the Madinat J, Dubai Properties has just purchased 50billion 'deerums' worth of kulcha for the tourists and residents of Dubai. I tell you, what more could you want?

Dubai is Vegas without the gambling. As for culture, Dubai is Vegas without the gambling but with the culture that is all the style of Vegas.
Dubai = Las Vegas.
Although most of the shows are passable, have you seen some of the shite they put on at the Maddy? Not to mention the terrible seating conditions in that warehouse they call the Arena.
Still though, it's better than a kick up the bum, I suppose.
That's nice, but what about the vast majority of the expats whose families could eat for a week on what one ticket to one show costs? "Real" cities have culture for everyone, at all incme levels.
Dubia has no culture, would be better expressed: Dubai doesnt have its own culture. Beside cultural heritage, history, charm and the beauty of a city are things like love; It cannot be purchased.
of course Dubai has its great culure:)
In my personal opinion, Dubai has lost its own culture and tradition.
Its main cause is different community people. Different countries people are staying there and make their own traditions and cultures. In short Dubai has a mixture of different communities’ peoples.
