She does it again

Just when you thought 7Days' resident trash-spewer Lizzy Millar couldn't get any worse, out she comes with her latest 'article' on JLo.
Dizzy Lizzy asks "who in their right mind would go to see her perform?"
Probably a lot less than the number who would pay her to stop belching utter garbage on the pages of the tabloid.

Ha ha! I think the editors agree with you, because they put a deliberately alluring photo of J-Lo next to that headline, making it look absurd.

I actually had phonecalls from media friends about that article today, they were so appalled by it.

A sadly weak link in an otherwise sparky little paper. What I can't understand is why papers here don't train and improve their staff. It doesn't take more than a few pointers and good editing to silk purse the worst sow's ear. And she's far from the worst - any one remember Rebecca Ferrari?

Ah Rebecca Ferrari, I think watching paint dry might have been more fascinating than reading her weekly Friday column..

"Thinking Aloud" wasn't it?

More people instantly bonded in mutual hatred of that column than in any Woodstock love-in or hippy hugfest. The loathing of that column transcended gender, culture, age, religion. It really brought people together in their shared contempt.

So perhaps in retrospect it did play an important role and should be brought back.

You have to wonder whether these are spoof writers - like half the letters.

"Thinking Aloud" Yep, that's the one! I wonder where she's gone now? I saw her write a few letters to GN but none to 7Days, maybe the latter might be too 'exciting' for her!
