Fogged mentality
The police reported two accidents per minute when we had heavy fog on Tueday, which comes as no surprise.
Particularly when you saw tinted, four wheel drives zooming down Sheikh Zayed Road, seemingly oblivious to the fact that visibility was less than 100 meters.

Hmmm the only blacked out 4wd I saw in the fog was my own (crawling along hugging the curb). I did see plenty of trailers pelting past me at obviously high speeds and thousands of sub-cons in sunnys with hazard lights flickering away. The only hazard in that was themselves.
